Instructor: Annie Conklin

Annie Conklin has been training in martial arts since the age of 8 and has 25 years of active practice. Since 2012, she started to focus her martial arts training on the Maphilindo and Madjapahit Martial Arts and attends Guro Dan Inosanto’s annual Herman Suwanda Memorial Pencak Silat Mande Muda Camp; Mande Muda includes 25 systems of Silat. Annie also regularly attends seminars in Silat Buka Lingkaran (Guro Alvin Guananao) and Silat Suffian Bela Diri (Guro Maul Mornie). Apart from Silat, she has trained in Okinawan Karate, Ninpo Taijutsu, Korean Tae Kwon do, American Kickboxing, Muay Thai, as well as Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts.

Annie is certified under Guro Inosanto to teach Jun Fan Gung Fu & Jeet Kune Do (Associate Instructor); Filipino Martial Arts (Associate Instructor); and Maphilindo and, recently, Madjapahit Martial Arts (Guro Level One). She is also a Level One Instructor under Guro Rick Faye, and can teach the MKG curriculum for Panantukan, Kali, Jun Fan Martial Arts, Muay Thai, and Grappling Arts.
