Breathwork

This event will be hosted on Salt Spring Island at the Wellness Center located at 120 Hereford Ave Salt Spring

 

For everyone’s safety,  please do not attend if:

  • you have any recent symptoms associated with covid 19, flu or other illness
  • you are currently required to quarantine or isolate by any law, government order or regulation as a result of recent travel.
  • or if you have received the covid vaxx
  • People with the following are not recommended to participate: Pregnancy, epilepsy, a detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease including prior heart attack; prior diagnosis of manic disorder, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia; strokes, TIAs, seizures or other brain/neurological
    conditions; history of aneurysms in your immediate family,hospitalization for any psychiatric condition, osteoporosis

Ancient Fire is committed to creating a safe space for everyone. We are following the recommended guidelines to disinfect all high traffic surfaces and floors after each class. We now have a HEPA filter, diffuser with anti-viral and anti-bacterial oils, and increased air flow in the dojo. We honour physical distancing by allowing a limited number of people per ceremony.

Breathwork is an ‘active meditation’, that gives us the opportunity to go within ourselves and discover the truth of who we are.

By saying “yes”, we breathe and relax instead of attempting to shut the breath down to avoid feeling. We locate the stillness in the midst of the storm.

The body and mind naturally resume its self healing, reorienting itself towards a healthy balance.

Trauma can be permanently resolved, and the shackles of identification start to fall away.

In this meditation, we use the tools of Conscious Connected Breath and Sound Healing to bring us to higher planes of consciousness, to remember and connect us back to our essential nature, and bring inspiration and clarity into our daily lives.

With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and inner healing intelligence to guide the process.

Breathwork boosts the immune system and balances the blood PH.

The breather’s journey is supported in a safe and sacred environment.

It is recommended not to eat at least 2 hours before the session.

No previous experience or training necessary.
