Open KoKoDo JuJutsu Seminar WITH IRIE SOKE
Irie Yasuhiro, Sensei began his training in the Hakko Ryu JuJutsu under Shodai Soke, Ryuho Okuyama, the founder of the Hakko Ryu. In 1971 Irie, Sensei received the rank of Shihan (master) from the Hakko Ryu Hombu Dojo in Omiya, Japan. He was the head instructor under Okuyama Ryuho at the Hakko Ryu Hombu Dojo for many years as well as being responsible for teaching Nidai Soke, Ryuho Okuyama’s son. In 1977 Irie Sensei received the highest rank (“Sandaikichu”) in Hakko-Ryu Ju Jutsu and that same year received the honorary title of “Jodai” from Soke Ryuho Okuyama (“Jodai” is an old Japanse term that means “Castle Value,” “one that would replace the king”—such possessed great skill was trusted beyond measure).
In 1988 Irie, Sensei opened his KoKoDo Clinic where he teaches and practices acupuncture, bonesetting, moxa and shiatsu.
In 1995 Irie, Sensei founded KoKoDo Jujutsu. He is Shodai Soke of KoKoDo Jujutsu.
